Well the month of October has come and is almost over in a blink, but before it is I wanted to slide in just a few more Halloween crafts. This project today is Artist Trading Coins, a recent trend replacing or shaking up the use of ATCs, artist trading cards. I was at Target having a look in the Halloween section and I found a canister of these cute whimsical chipboard stickers and I knew I just had to make some trading coins out of them. I used mixed media paper cut into 3″ circles. I painted each background then added Dylusions shimmer spray, embossing or glitter depending on what influenced me from the sticker. It was a lot of fun and an easy way to add one new item to your collection and use up other supplies on hand. Now thru the end of October, if you make a purchase in my Etsy shop, one of these cards will go with the mail until they run out. I still have a few treats from my 7 days of Halloween left.

Here are some photos of the coins close up:
The canister I found in the “kid” craft section end cap at target had several hundred pieces of chipboard stickers. It’s a great way to have take-home gifts or treats if you are having a Halloween party this year.
Enjoy and Happy Halloween!
Below is a list of the supplies I used to make all these coins:
