I missed you all during the November month. The holidays have been creeping up and as I’m sure you all know life has just gotten so busy! I wanted to pop on my blog today to share with you a super easy way to make a mass grouping of holiday notecards. All I used to make these cards were premade card blanks, one stamp set, Dina Wakley scribble sticks, and archival ink. By limiting supplies it kind of helped me hone in and produce more quickly. There are so many great stamp sets out there nowadays and so many supplies we can use, streamlining can help you narrow in and batch your cards.
For this set I used:
- White cards that are 3 1/2″ x 5″ from Amazon
- A Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz “Scribbly Christmas” stamp set.
- Dina Wakley Scribble Sticks (set 2)
- Black Archival Ink
- My Tim Holtz Tonic Stamp platform
- some generic watercolor crayons from Michales
- ….and lots of Christmas Music
Tip. Stamp using archival ink to ensure the ink won’t bleed when using wet medium and ensure your cardstock is heavy duty. I also made sure I did all the stamping first so by the time the last card was stamped the first was dry and ready for the watercolor.
