With February drawing closer to an end, I know up North folks are still dealing with snow, so I thought I would add a little sunshine to my release this week. Today’s post & video are Distress Oxide mini notecards with some bright spring colors and flowers. To pep up those cold days and get us ready for spring. I made these cards for an upcoming happy mail swap. They are my favorite type of cards to make because all you need are a few Distress Oxide colors and one stamp.
For this project I used:
A set of premade 3 1/2″ x 5″ notecards
Distress Oxides in; Hickory Smoke, Picked Raspberry, Seedless Preserves, Broken China, Antique Linen, and Old Paper.
Black Archival Ink
Tim Holtz Tonic Stamp Platform
Tim Holtz Tonic Glass Matt
Carabelle Studio stamp “Roadside Weeds”

I just really loved how the colors came together and how the black stamp looked on the bright colors. Even the areas that didn’t stamp as well gave it a nice distressed look. I hope these simple mini cards will inspire you to start breaking out some of those spring stamps and get ready for the warmer season and some happy mail swaps!
